School of Emerging Technologies Seed Funding Panel

The School of Emerging Technologies invites faculty who are interested in applying for or who have received SET seed funding to attend a panel discussion on January 20, 2016. The goals of the panel are (1) to allow faculty who may be interested in applying for SET seed funding to learn from others who have implemented successful SET projects; and (2) to allow faculty from different colleges and research fields to connect and develop collaborative relationships.
Faculty members from across campus who have received SET funding before will be invited to share their experience and thoughts in four main areas:
Acquiring external funding
Commercializing scientific research
Developing and maintaining external partnerships
Selecting and working with students on a research project
