PawPrints: the New York Times in the Classroom

Each semester Towson University faculty members integrate the New York Times, USA Today, and the Baltimore Sun into the classroom curriculum. Faculty who specifically include the NY Times in their Fall course syllabus receive FREE home delivery of the New York Times, Monday through Friday during the semester.

Integration of newspapers into course curriculum allows for discussion and reflection on topics that have direct impact on the students, from social issues and new technology to the global economy and career opportunities. Promoting Civic Engagement is a university priority that is captured in the Towson University 2020 plan.
