Sabbatical Presentation by Dr. Linda Oravecz, Department of Family Studies and Community Development

Linda M. Oravecz, Ph.D., Department of Family Studies and Community Development, will present Sabbatical research findings on Thursday, December 10, at 10:00am in the College of Liberal Arts building, room 2202. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office on Women’s Health (OWH), Coalition for a Healthier Community (CHC) supports ten grantees in the implementation of gender-based, public health systems approaches to improve women and girls’ health. This presentation will share selected preliminary findings of the national evaluation, in year four of a five-year grant cycle, which is assessing whether gender-focused public health systems approaches are sustainable and cost effective in addressing health disparities in women and girls.
