Commencement Volunteers Needed for Winter 2015 Ceremonies

In December, we will continue the year-long celebration of Towson University’s 150th anniversary with our Winter 2015 commencement ceremonies. We are seeking staff members to assist with all three commencement ceremonies. Many volunteers are needed to ensure that the ceremonies run smoothly and provide the best possible Towson experience for all participants.

Volunteer assignments are on a first-come-first served basis. You may select from a variety of different options such as greeting guests and distributing programs, assisting guests with special needs and helping with the student line-up. Volunteer duties begin 1-2 hours prior to each ceremony (depending on the assignment).

Snacks and beverages will be available on-site for volunteers at all ceremonies. Lunch will be provided between ceremonies to those volunteers serving a full day on Thursday.

Register HERE before November 24 to help make commencement a day to remember for TU graduates and their families! Assignments will be confirmed via email on December 3.

Please obtain your supervisor’s approval before submitting your request. If you have any questions, please contact Lauren Averell at specialevents@towson.edu.
