Kathryn L. Evans (Music) presented a poster, “Embracing Learner Variability: An Innovative Approach to Teaching Choral Conducting,” at the biennial Society for Music Teacher Education Symposium on Music Teacher Education.  http://smte.us/conferences-symposia/2015-symposium-general-information/ She also presented two sessions, “Music That Moves You! Integrating Elements of D-O-K in Choral Ensembles” and “Hire Me! Proactive Tips for Landing Your First Music Teaching Job” at the National Association for Music Education National In-Service Conference. Evans presented a session, “Navigating the Intersection of Church and State in Public Schools,” at the Maryland Music Educators Association Fall In-Service Conference.

Librarians Joyce Garczynski and Carl Olson presented “Taking the Stickiness Out Of the Stuck Places Using Government Information” at the Depository Library Council Meeting and Federal Depository Library Conference in Arlington, VA on October 20, 2015.

Librarian Sarah Burns Gilchrist’s review of Children’s Literature in Action: A Librarian’s Guide, 2nd Edition was published in volume 85, issue 4 of The Library Quarterly.
