The Office of Human Resources requires all regular and contingent staff employees to complete their criminal background investigation (fingerprinting) five business days prior to their start date.
In addition to staff employees, any Towson University employee (faculty, staff, or student) or volunteer working with minors (children under the age of 18), must be fingerprinted at the State of Maryland and FBI levels. Hiring managers and those supervising volunteers should contact the OHR to schedule a fingerprinting appointment, confirm the current level of criminal history investigation for an employee or volunteer, and for additional information.
For questions, please contact Fingerprinting Clerk, Nicole Joseph-Quarles, at x4-6576 or njosephquarles@towson.edu.
