The following participants completed the Effective Supervision Program (ESP). This program is conducted over three full days of learning where both the theory and application of supervision are covered. Participants leave with a better understanding of their role as a supervisor here at TU, as well as a better understanding into how they supervise by completing self-assessments, learning through case studies, and being able to ask questions to various HR managers about each topic area.

Associate Director of Human Resources Kristi Yowell was appointed the inaugural president of the Maryland chapter of the College and University Professional Association (CUPA) for Human Resources on June 16, 2015.
Kristi helped to create the chapter alongside colleagues from McDaniel College, Montgomery College and Anne Arundel Community College.
Human Resources’ Employment, Classification and Compensation Manager Jennifer Stano spoke at the inaugural meeting of the Maryland chapter of the College and University Professional Association (CUPA) for Human Resources on June 16, 2015. Jennifer presented an Affirmative Action plan overview at the meeting.
