University-community partnerships are an important part of Towson University’s mission and charge as an anchor institution in the Baltimore Metropolitan region.
In order to better support these university-community partnerships and relationships that TU’s faculty and staff members are leading, we are launching a new system and framework. You can download an outline of the system here. This support system will help you in the following ways:
- Find potential on-campus collaborators and resources to support your partnerships and relationships
- Identify and connect with community partners to start a new project or to expand an existing project
- Track your impacts and outcomes over time
- Help tell your and your department’s/division’s story through customized reportsLet us know about your projects and partnerships!
- Part of determining how best to support your partnership or relationship requires collecting information about them.
- This system was developed by the Partnership Working Group, a university-wide committee made up of faculty and staff members from across campus, and approved by the Vice Presidents. The system outlines categories of partnerships that will help determine the best ways to provide support, recognition, and connections.
