If you are a contractual faculty member currently enrolled in health benefits, and making direct payments to the State of Maryland Employee Benefits Division (EBD), it is time to renew your coupons. You should soon be receiving or have received a letter from EBD reminding you to work through your agency’s HR office so that your coupons can be renewed for your next contract period.
The Office of Human Resources Benefits (BLT) Unit will send a renewal notice to Employee Benefits after your department chair/supervisor notifies BLT that your contract is being renewed. Once EBD receives BLT’s notification, they will provide new coupons and send to your home address for the next contract period.
