Hussman Center for Adults with Autism: Request for Research Proposals

The Hussman Center for Adults with Autism announces its first Request for Proposals for Research Studies to be conducted at, or in, collaboration with the Hussman Center at Towson University.  Funding to support this launch of the research component of the Hussman Center’s mission is provided by a recent $25,000 award from the Towson University Foundation.

Projects selected for funding will have research goals congruent with the Hussman Center’s philosophy and priority areas and be conducted during the 2015-2016 time period at the Hussman Center and/or in collaboration with Hussman Center staff.  Approved research proposals will include meaningful, substantive student involvement and provide evidence of strong potential for subsequent external funding that builds upon the research project’s outcomes.

Tenured/tenure-track faculty  from any Towson University Department are eligible to apply;  projects may also involve other Towson University faculty and staff as appropriate to the study.

The deadline for proposals is April 20, 2015.   More details and forms are available via the Request for Proposals document at http://www.towson.edu/iwb/hussman/research.asp
