Call for Commencement Volunteers – Spring 2015

In Spring 2015 we will begin a year-long celebration of Towson University’s 150th anniversary including our 150th commencement ceremonies. We are still seeking staff members to assist with the commencement ceremonies. Many volunteers are needed to ensure that the ceremonies run smoothly and provide the best possible Towson experience for all participants.

Volunteers are still needed for Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday afternoon. Volunteer duties begin 1-2 hours prior to each ceremony (depending on the assignment).

Dates

Wednesday, May 20, 2015

Friday, May 22, 2015

While we only request a commitment to serve for one ceremony, we strongly encourage those whose schedules allow, to register for a full day (2 consecutive ceremonies) in order to maintain optimum smoothness of operation. Snacks and beverages will be available on-site for volunteers at all ceremonies. Lunch will be provided between ceremonies to those volunteers serving a full day.

Register before April 17 to help make commencement a day to remember for TU graduates and their families! Assignments will be confirmed via email on May 1.

Please obtain your supervisor’s approval before submitting your request.

With Tiger Pride,

Lauren Averell ’10, Commencement Volunteer Coordinator
