Lowering of the United States Flag and the Maryland State Flag at Half-Staff
In accordance with President Obama’s Proclamation, Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered that the United States flag and the Maryland State flag be flown at half-staff on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from sunrise to sunset in honor of Peace Officers Memorial Day.
Planetarium Show, “Saturn and the Summer Sky”
Dr. Alex Storrs, Department of Physics, Astronomy and Geoscience, will present a planetarium show titled, “Saturn and the Summer Sky” in the Watson-King Planetarium, Smith Hall, Room 521. Plan to come and enjoy the show on Friday, May 17, 2013 at 8 p.m. Telescope viewing, weather permitting.
