It?s the last day to show what you know about preservation. Do you think you have what it takes? Here?s the question:
I have an old hardcover book in my collection. The covers have come off and seem to be disintegrating. What?s the best way to stabilize it?
A) Wrap it in newspaper and put it somewhere dark.
B) Make a box for it and put it back on the shelf.
C) Use cotton string to tie it back together and put it back on the shelf.
The answer to this question will be revealed at the Special Collections open house tomorrow September 22nd from 3-5pm on the 5th floor of Cook Library and on the Special Collections Facebook Page: {http://www.facebook.com/pages/Towson-University-Special-Collections-and-Archives/181430435235160}.
