Attention Towson University, Congo Week is HERE!
To Celebrate Congo Week taking place from Oct. 19-23, the African Diaspora Club will be hosting a Cell phone drive collecting old, unwanted cell phones in the Women’s Center of the University Union all week long. By doing this, we will cut down on the exploitation of individuals for Coltain, an essential resource found in cell phones used in many electronics. Also, to shed light on the issues in the Congo, ADC will be hosting a presentation on Thursday October 22nd in the Loch Raven Room in the University Union from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Come learn, come help, Come BREAK THE SILENCE!
