The College of Business and Economics is hosting its annual speakers panel focusing on diversity Wednesday Nov. 2 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Stephens Hall Room 310.
A high-powered panel of prominent representatives from the local business community will discuss important issues surrounding the event?s theme ? ?Roles of Diversity in the Workplace.?
Panelists will discuss questions such as:
? How is diversity defined? What is the breadth and scope of diversity?
? What are the benefits of diversity in the workplace?
? How prevalent is diversity recruiting?
? What are the challenges of workplace diversity?
? What are some required tools for managing diversity?
? Does diversity in the workplace have the potential of yielding greater productivity?
