Bringing the Silver Screen to Maryland

The Maryland Film Industry Coalition commissioned a study with RESI Applied Economics and Human Services (RESI-AEHS) of Towson University to conduct an analysis of the film and video industry in Maryland. In addition to determining the economic impact of the industry, RESI-AEHS was tasked with finding the film and video industry’s current employment concentration and the estimated level of employment needed in order to induce more film and video companies to set up permanent residency in the state.
