Interest and exploration into internet-based 3-D virtual worlds like Second Life has blurred all boundaries and opened up new avenues for us to share, collaborate and network. One organization open to the virtual possibilities within Second Life is the Maryland Association of CPAs. Their developing presence within Second Life includes centers, partnerships and presentations. This vital real-life business environment is developing on two distinct islands.

CEO Tom Hood (aka SL Rocky Maddaloni) and Editor Bill Sheridan (aka SL Billy Mapp) talk about their organization?s venture into Second Life, which includes their Second Life partnerships, their Second Life Association of CPAs (SLACPA) group and their current and future activities.
