The Maryland Creative Problem Solvers’ Destination Imagination State Tournament returns to campus this Saturday, April 12. This TU- supported annual event will bring roughly 4000 children, parents, teachers and volunteers to our campus to participate in and support a variety of academic, creative and physical activities.
The event will take place from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and involve school children participating in team activities in more than 60 approved rooms throughout seven campus buildings. The buildings being utilized throughout the day include Linthicum Hall, the Psychology Building, Hawkins Hall, Van Bokkelen, the 7800 York Road Building, Burdick Hall and the University Union (from 7 – 9 p.m. only). Pending good weather, the final day’s activity will be an informal awards ceremony on Burdick Field.
