If you?re planning to backpack in Europe, go to spring break in Mexico, or go anywhere abroad you will need a passport. The United States Postal Service (USPS) will be here on campus February 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the entrance to PAWS in the student union building. This is the perfect opportunity to get your passport application processed without visiting a post office.

You must bring an official birth record (with a raised seal), a driver’s license or state identification card (OneCards will work), a naturalized certificate if you are a naturalized citizen, and two identical two-by-two inch pictures of yourself. If you do not have passport photos, you can have them taken during for a small fee. It is advised that you do not take the photos yourself as there are specific requirements for them.

The USPS will take passport photos for $15. The application fee for the state department is $75 and the USPS processing fee is $25. Payments can be made in the form of cash, check or money orders. TU OneCards or debit/credit cards will not be accepted.
