Join Maryland?s Governor, TU and millions of citizens across the globe in showing your support for energy reduction by turning off your lights for Earth Hour. The hour will occur from 8:30 ? 9:30 p.m. tonight, and by participating you will be sending a message about the switch to cleaner air and a more sustainable community. Last year, more than one billion people, organizations, corporations and governments participated in Earth Hour, from the Empire State Building to the Great Pyramids of Giza. You can be part of the movement too.
TU is turning off all lights in Linthicum Hall, Hawkins Hall, the Psychology Building, the Administration Building and Enrollment Services in support of Earth Hour, and we encourage all students to turn off their lights during Earth Hour as well.
