Confused about the 2010 Census? Did you know?

Did you know the 2010 Census is the shortest and simplest in US history, since the first census took place in 1790? The U.S. Census Bureau says this form will take 10 minutes to complete but in reality it will probably take even less time to fulfill this civic duty!

The U.S. Census counts every resident in the United States, and is required by the Constitution to take place every 10 years. College students are to be counted at their place of residence as of April 1, 2010. Your place of residence is where you spend the most time as of April 1. For most students this is an on-campus or local address, unless you live at home with your parents. Students living off-campus will receive a U.S. Census form in the mail. Students living on-campus will receive a form from their RA in April. Make sure you are counted in the 2010 Census by filling out and returning the form!
