The Physics, Astronomy & Geosciences Department will be presenting a seminar on Tuesday, November 29th. in Smith Hall, Room 420. The guest speaker will be Dr. Ian B. Spielman from the National Institute of Standards and Technology. The talk is on the lifetime of excited quantum states in a 2D Bose-Einstein condensate. There will be light refreshments at 3:30 p.m. and the talk will begin at 4:00 p.m.
