WTMD 89.7 Supports Breast Cancer Services: Baltimore Unsigned at special time showcasing Mammojam

Tune in to WTMD?s Mammojam edition of Baltimore Unsigned. Airing at 6 pm, on Tuesday, February 3, with an encore performance at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, this very special edition of our local music show includes The Grilled Lincolns and Billy Coulter with Janine Wilson. The performances support Mammojam, a breast cancer support organization for uninsured and homeless women in the Baltimore region.

Each of the performers and their families have been affected by breast cancer and they tell their compelling and emotional stories in words and music. There are also interviews with women who have received services and treatments through the Mammojam Foundation that enabled them to survive and thrive after their diagnosis.

Interviews include a conversation with Towson University alumnus Riddie Becker who tells a moving story about losing his mother when he was in the eighth grade. Riddie is joined in his band, the Grilled Lincolns, by Towson University faculty member Jeremy Ragsdale from the music department.

Don’t miss it: this exceptional episode of Baltimore Unsigned begins at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3 on 89.7 WTMD. An encore performance will be broadcast at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 7.
