TUPD Rape, Aggression, Defense (RAD) Course

The Towson University Police Department will be offering a Rape, Aggression, Defense (RAD) course for female students this spring.

RAD is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques. The RAD system begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and avoidance. RAD also teaches hands-on defense training. RAD is dedicated to teaching women defensive concepts and techniques against various types of assault, by utilizing easy, effective and proven self-defense tactics.

The course will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday evenings, April 5 ? April 26. Class location will be provided when registration confirmation is received.

The course is open to all female students and is available at no cost. Register early, as class size is limited.
