Towson University was closed from 7 p.m. Tuesday, 1/27/09 until 11:59 a.m. Wednesday, 1/28/09 and from 6 a.m. until 9:59 a.m. Thursday, 1/29/09. As a result, Administrative Leave has been granted to Regular staff, 12-month faculty, librarians, and contingent staff for their scheduled hours during the aforementioned time periods.
Regular staff, 12-Month faculty and librarians should record leave code ADMU in the Leave Code section on their timesheet, along with their scheduled hours as they relate to the aforementioned time periods.
Contingent II staff should record on their timesheet leave code ADMCU in the Leave Code section on their timesheet, along with their scheduled hours as they relate to the aforementioned time periods.
Contingent I staff should record their scheduled hours as work time on their timesheet and record ?Admin Leave for (dates as appropriate)? in the Remarks section as necessary for the aforementioned time periods.
Employees who were not scheduled to work 1/27, 1/28 or 1/29 are not granted Administrative Leave. Employees who were scheduled to work, but did not, are not granted Administrative Leave and must use other earned leave for the time off.
Emergency Essential Personnel (usually only certain Facilities Management and Police employees) will be paid for hours worked in addition to receiving straight time Administrative Leave pay for their scheduled hours.
