Towson University will welcome Steve Jones as its new Associate Vice President for Human Resources, who will be starting on December 18, 2017. Steve replaces Phil Ross, who retired in June. Steve has spent the last twenty-four years serving as a Chief Human Resource Officer in both public and private settings and most recently served as Director for Human Resources for the City of Raleigh, North Carolina. Steve earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA, and his M.S. in Business Administration from High Point University in High Point, NC. Steve will provide strategic leadership for the Office of Human Resources and will work with the OHR staff and university leadership to implement transformative change in the areas of technology, diversity and operational effectiveness.
