The goal of Towson’s Online Edge Certificate Program is to assist Towson instructors as they develop facilitation, pedagogical, and technical expertise relating to online instruction. These skills form a foundation of good practice that faculty can continue to refine over time.
This certificate is ideal for instructors who are new to teaching online or blended courses and for those who wish to enhance their skills. There are three levels to the Online Edge Program. We recommend that you start with the Online Edge Facilitation Certificate.
- Register now for the Online Edge Facilitation and Course Design workshops, offered this January.
- Contact OAI for access to the independent modules in Blackboard today: prerequisite Alignment module, elective modules on Accessibility and Copyright.
- Fulfill an elective by registering for select OTS Training workshops offered on a rotating schedule throughout the year. (See the list of accepted workshops.)
